For the second time in 2 years a car has knocked into my parked bike, this time Norwich Union were the company I had to deal with. I spoke [nicely] to the claims assessor, and he agreed that they would be fine with me getting a [Yoshi race] pipe instead of a boring old standard Suzuki one - I even managed to get it set up [Yoshi box not PC111] at the dealers all for nothing, as this is still cheaper than a std suzuki pipe. I have even manaed to get them to allow me to keep my old fairing panels & exhaust [inc. microscopic scratches] for nothing.
Moral of the story - it costs nothing to ask !
