Dealers in London - Cbr600F

Hi guys/girls,

Can anyone suggest through experience some reliable and reputable dealers in London. Reason being want to buy a CBR600F in Jan (should be able to get a decent discount).

So if any group of poeple can point me in the right direction its LB’s…

Cheers

Andy

Dealer I bought my CBR600 from is no longer is business, they were good, but thats no use now as they have shut up shop.:DInfinity seem to be getting some good shout outs here. Never used them myself…apart from the clothing place in Gt Portland Street, they were good in there. There is Chiswick Honda, but I haven’t heard good things from there. Good for spares though.

maybe worth a look on ebay for london dealers.

good luck.

Firstline Motorcycles in Southgate, small dealers nothing flashy, I got a good deal on my first bike

I got my 07RR from motoden. They gave me a pretty good price for my old cbr even with a bit of crash damage. And i haven’t really had any issues with there service guys so far.

I bought my 600 F through Dobles in Coulsden. They were the cheapest that I found at the time and ok to deal with. I had no problems with them.

thanks for all the advice…chiswick honda? r they crap…

they are 2mins from where i live, but am not going there if they r bad

Andy

I went to Chiswick honda (also 2 mins away from me) when i was looking to buy my CBF… didnt think they were that bad… were quite pleasant actualy.

the saleswoman was kind enough to keep calling me to ask if I had decided on the bike (after the test ride) and also called me when it was sold (to someone else).

went in the other day (just drooling at some bikes) and a diff salesman talked to me, also polite.

Price wise they werent bad either, same price as similar bike that was on sale at 1stline.

went there (1stline) and cant say they were that much better, the guy wouldnt haggle.

finally went for a CBF from Doobles… (which is miles away :stuck_out_tongue: )

better just walk in to a showroom and see what responce you get.

They aren’t crap cos they’re a proper Honda garage, so any work should be done to a time sheet and therefore should be quality managed.

The reason main dealers are crap is that they’re working to quote, so no one there is happy or working cos they like working on bikes. THey’re bits in the Honda or the Suzuki corporate machine. No love, so your bike gets no love neither.

I’ve never bought a bike from them, but I heard on another forum that thier aftersales isn’t all that…but you never know, could be a one off. Can’t really judge on one persons gripe really. It’s a flash showroom though & I’ve never had a problem with ordering spares and the like from them.

salesman “heston” from chiswick honda is cool.
ask for him.

Is he the bloke bike interviewed as potentially the most dangerous rider in the UK?

I personally have had a good after sales service and general work done @ chiswick honda. My current RR came from their and my Hornet.

Their servicing is not the cheapest, but the bike always feels so good getting back on it, just like new, also they give it a good clean.

Another mate has had really good after sale, when we brought a second hand CBR from them. Some thing was up with the front end; they ended changing loads of bits and spent a lot of time on it for him. All for FREE!!

Also they give you a Scooter or CB500 as a courtesy bike so you can get home / work.

Got my 600F from Chiswick Honda, staff are really pleasant. Dealt with Alex, top guys IMO

allways found Slocombes NW10 honest reliable and as competetive as any main dealer, Steve in thier service dept is second to none, and no I dont work for them…

I bought my CBR from Chiswick Honda too. I got a pretty decent trade-in deal on my old Hornet (which needed some serious work hence the reason for changing). I’ve always found the sales and service team friendly and helpful. And I like the fact that they provide courtesy bikes for free (even if it means that you might end up in full armour on a scoot :D).

I’ve always been happy with their service but admittedly they’re a big dealership so it will compare with a small garage. One thing though, try to change your tyres elsewhere (Watling, etc…) as Honda charge stupid prices for them.
