Needs must. I have to pay for my daughters Spring School camp for next year, I need to pay my bills and am still recovering financially from my bike crash 11 months ago. Such is life. I have a very good commuter in my CBF500 and as much as I love riding the Daytona, it is not a commuting bike. It is ideal for riding to the continent and hoovering up the miles in comfort.

Yes it was my intention. I used to have a Sprint RS, 2001 and 2002 models. Both generations of engines. The Daytona 900 compares favourably with the newer bikes in terms of engine delivery and power. It has also aged far better in build quality! As they say, needs must.
Listing ends tomorrow after lunch. 50 odd watchers… Starts first time on the button with a touch of choke after being left standing for two weeks. Lovely sound!
Going to park this up until Spring by the looks of it. No point trying to sell it so close to Christmas as people won’t have funds etc… So I’ll cover it up and wait for March.

Not so much that. I’ve had nibbles on Ebay, but they were way to low in offers. I’m looking to cover costs and a small profit (ie £250). I have spent some on fixing it up for MOT and sorting small niggles. That is just me though as I do enjoy these bikes.
Now had an offer on the bike by someone who saw it parked up at my place of work. Asked if it was for sale and was very pleased to hear it was. Apparently he has several “older” bikes in his garage and loves them! So it may well be going to a good home!! I’ll update this once cash is in my hand.
