Daylight robbery

Having witnessed a Romanian national getting ripped off at a cash machine by a British Asian I think it’s fair to say that the perpetrators of this form of distraction theft are not exclusively Romanian nationals.

It’s would however not be unfair to say that a large number of the people that use an object (newspaper, tube map) based distraction do have an appearance that many Western European people might label ‘Roma’, which is of course nothing to do with being Romanian!

Wow I do like an up to date post.

I work with Drei - dodgy as you like

This happened to a friend of mine at Barclays on Gloucester road. Two girls approached her and waved their newspapers infront of the machine. She managed to block the machine with her body and they walked off. They had managed to punch in £250 though. That was also in broad daylight with lots of people around. You just have to be on your guard I guess. No one should approach you when you are using a cash machine.

The machines around Gloucester road are all covered in glue from where skimming devices have been removed.

I once drew out £100 but left it in machine. The machine returne my card very quickly so I thougth there was a problem with it. The tramp sitting between the machines took the money and unfortunately at the time I couldn’t prove it either way. Figured that was my charity contribution sorted for the next 10 years.

Tight bastard!

ATM’s over here are a problem, I remember a few years back in spain i came across a couple of ATM’s that were designed like telephone booths, you actually lock yourself in when using them, a great idea that should be adopted over here imo;)

lol yeah I also hate cyclist and I try to run them over any chance I get:)))

Sad truth is that most Eastern Europeans only have 1 scope, that is to get rich quickly and build a mantion or two back home. Most educated hard working people will not quite say they are from this or that country. I for one was born in Romania but lived in Switzerland for a better part of my life so I can’t comment but one thing is that I don’t have any Romanian friends and when me or my wife hear Romanian around us in a train or in a shop we switch to English and try to avoid them. Most Romanians who are integrated here will do the same.

People who are educated and have decent enough jobs in Romania will not leave to go abroad, why should they? Only the poor and unwanted tend to go abroad and make a bad name for the rest. Other sad truth is that those poor uneducated people now have more money than the hard working ones, they have night clubs, businesses, villas, expensive cars… etc How did they afford that??? You tell me… surely not by getting paid minimum wages.

I don’t want to open a can of worms but I trully do avoid to say where I am from and simply say British, if they insist I say I was born in Romania and lived in Switzerland since my father was Hungarian/French I go for the French side. I know you lot hate the French too but… at least I am not ashamed. Don’t patronise me it is a choice.

There is no Romanian community unless they steal from each other. Did you know that when Romanian were here working illegaly other Romanians were targeting them? They would go to them rob them steal they money cars etc and they couldn’t even call the Police because they weren’t supposed to be here. At the Romanian church they steal from the money box, they come and say they are single girls all alone and people take them in put a roof over their head only to have her freinds come in and empty the house when they are not in? What you gonna do you gave her the keys no? List goes on and on and on and on…

I just thought of another one… some Romanians are not IT specialists or simply not knowing the language they are not confident enough to go on the net and get car insurance so they talk to a “mate” Romanian too of course. The guy says yeah now orries I’ll sort you out. Get’s the insurance on his credit card… he gets paid a little extra for it aaaaaand after about 2 months the guy calls and cancells the insurance… and gets that money back too so he just made about £1000+ leaving the other driver uninsured and everyone else at risk of him.

The moment I stopped talking to Romanian was when a guy approached me “Hey mate you are into IT yeah? you know stuff…” to which I say “yeah a little” and he says “I have some chip and pin readers from shops do you think you can get the data off them?”. I thought “fuk that” how did he even know about me, how did he even know I was into IT… who told him out of the people I talked to? So I stopped all communications with any Romanians and started to avoid them too.

There are soooo many examples I won’t bother you with them but just so you get an idea how tight we tend to be. On the other hand if you do manage to get to the US or Canada the communities there are much better just like a normal community anywhere. When you move over the pond you tend to move for good so a better class of people or abetter mentality, not sure.

Here are my 2 cents… will you crucify me for it?

Thread mining at its best!!!

lol I think that’s my last 2 cents:)) so who watches Porn at work?? Apparently it is a common practice at the courts these days…
