Yep, Day Release lost her BCR cherry today! It gives me gr8 pleasure to inform all LB’ers that DR rode her YBR125 all the way out to Finchingfield and back this morning!
And what a ride too!:w00t: Yesterday we looked at The Vanishing Point, as we deemed it the best tool for her safety out on the lanes today. But a few miles before we got to FF DR started to get things very right. It became very clear that there was a level of planning gong on in her riding. Some proper Roadcraft was being built and applied. I cannot tell you the amounts of time the word “Quality” fell from my lips on the way home!
I am so very proud of the achievement you made today girl. You know I dont give up my BCR lightly, but I have to say that your achievements made giving up todays BCR well and truly worth it!
It was a pleasure to meet S/Angle! She was Alluring!
You missed all the best bits of DR’s ride m8. You were out front and then left early. Anything that you’d seen was nowt compared to what followed:cool:
Crikey!
Well, I hope you remind her that she missed all the bast roads!
i think am ready for a bidder bike now. there no power in that 125 engine
thanks Sneaky, you are a great teacher. our advise about vanishing point really made a lot of difference to my riding today.I felt really comfortable doing it out on road like these today.
i look forward to doing it again next week hopefully Ms mad dog will be able able to join us to. would be nice to have a riding buddy.
What a great rideout, thanks to Moonshine and George and anybody else who organised/led, don’t know all your names yet.
Perfect, bit of a blast on some great roads followed by breakfast followed by another blast, what more can you ask for ?
Have checked my videos and they’ve all come out upside down :w00t: Will have to process them to correct and the bitrate is a bit low, it might have been defaulting to a lower quality mode, will send a link to those in them as soon as they’re uploaded.
There’s a video??? NICE! Soon there will be a “I heart BCR” t-shirts and mugs
I really found my mojo on the way back, but I bet any video will just reveal me to be wobbling cautiously around the bends - be good to see though.
Well done DR - not only did you finish your first bcr, but you managed to beat the other group on a 125 Couldn’t believe it when I walked in and saw you all there:blink:
Well done and really glad you all had a good day!! It was gorgeous weather too!!
Once again sorry I could not make it, but thanks for the invite anyway - it was just the early start that was the problem after a few drinks at a BBQ. Had a lovely lunchtime run to Box instead and learnt a bit more about cornering
Next weekend would be happy to come along, if you don’t mind another Laydee Biker in your midst. (I promise to get up early next weekend too:)
The BCR is the World Famous Breakfast Club Run, people meet up on Sunday morning , 8.30am at Collier Row for a ride to Finchingfield for a big Breakfast, followed by a Leisurely Stroll up the Haverhill Road;)…Then a ride back to High Beech or home:D…PS, Well done Miss Day release, you were looking good on ya bike;)
