Since my little ‘off’ last week, I want to remove my alarm to go on the next bike. How easy is it to do? Do I need to know anything special or can i just disconnect it and remove it?
I’m sure I have seen someone on the forum that installs alarms, so if you know who he is or if it’s you, Stand up! 
I had a datatool alarm on a bike years ago. Took it off myself and its a piece of cake.
Just make sure you take the wires off one at a time and label them (before cutting out of the loom) with where they’ve come from - eg indicators, iginition etc.
It’s pretty straightforward, but feel free to give me a shout if you don’t feel brave enough.
