I dont use the crossing very much but it always frustrates me how long it takes to pay such a small amount. There must be a better way to pay so you dont have to stop? Something along the lines of how they do congestion charging? Pay before and a camera checks your numberplate against the database?
A lot of vehicles already have this system in place. Part of the delay problems is that it takes a while for the barrier to come up having recognised that you are already authorised to go through.
