were ripe and might fall and hit someone? It was in the sun (I was looking at the pictures…)

The idea that a group of brain dead civil servants should be heald responsible for the unstoppable act of nature, with the upshot that some idiot will actually seriously propose that we pull down all the fruit bearing trees in Britain just in case someone gets hit by a “moist ripe piece of fruit” is so bloody unbelievably stupid it beggars belief.
The desire to go into the legal profession alone should result in the castration of the would-be lawyers father, the chemical neutralisaton of the would-be lawyers mother, and the immediate immersement in a vat of boiling treacle of the would-be lawyer. Frankly I find religion less unpleasant and that’s saying something.

Phew, rant over, sorry bout that if anyone here is in the legal profession.
This makes me so angry-some dopey jobsworth hiding behind health and safety in case he gets sued, because for some surreal reason he thinks he should be doing something instead of allowing people to get on with it as they’ve always done and actually concentrating on what he should be doing to earn his public wage. Claims like this are actually dwindling because the courts just arent having it anymore.
I work in elf n safety and this sort of thing really p****s me off. I work to try and prevent major injuries and fatalities at work-y’know, the serious stuff like asbestos, people falling through roofs, cranes collapsing- not to nanny people through common bleedin sense. W*****s!
