I would just like to say thank you for everyone that turned up to the LB Summer BBQ yesterday. If a little damp at times it was good to see so many people brave the weather and help raise money for the LAA.

A special thankyou for Lou who stepped in and managed to make it a great evening, and to everyone else that had a hand in getting the event off the ground.

The landlady at the Two Brewers was more than helpful and the pub is worth a visit if your out that way.

Can we book some sunshine for the next one though Lou;)

Yes I’d like to add my thanks to Lou, Panda and PJ for arranging yesterday evening’s BBQ. Shame about the weather but it was still good to chat and put faces to usernames. :slight_smile:

Thank you to you guys for making it a very special evening - without you it wouldn’t have been a success. Lots of issues along the way but we got there in the end!! Thank you to all that gave their support with coming last night and to helping out behind the scenes. Its greatly appreciated :smiley:

I would have loved to have roaring sunshine, however the rain gave us something to talk about I suppose :crazy:

Lots of money raised for the LAA just over £250

Yeap had a great time on saturday, got to chat with almost everyone, food was good (and plentiful!) and it even stayed dry for the ride home :slight_smile:

Sorry I could only drop by for 30mins, but was in the area and thought I’d say hi! Wanted to stay as the BBQ smelled great, but had to get back home with the little one - she kept asking me all the way home where is the pink bike, and why is Cheeky Chick called that…

By the way who won the raffle???
