After some consideration (and in view of a future purchase of a bigger bike) i decided to go and buy a new helmet.
The one that fitted the best was an Arai and didnt want to spend TOO much so ended up getting a plain black Condor
I didnt want to spend £50 for the awful graphics that the condor range offers so i decided to look online for helmet decals! and i have narrowed it down to two:
they are both american football helmet decals so it will make the helmet look unique.
first is the NEW ORLEANS BREAKERS 1984
and the second is the RAMS 1964-1972:
they are both available on ebay for US $12.99 alot better than the £50 exra right? and look more original!
What do you think?

Good on you mate, I think any helmet design is a personal one.
Why don’t you contact this chap - http://www.mikepdesigns.co.uk/home.html - and see what the cost would be to have it done professionally - I think you’d be surprised at the cost and it would beat any homemade efforts with some stickers from e-bay.
This bloke is very good, his price couldn’t be beaten and he’s done a few members lids including my own.
Whatever you decide to do let us know.
Hmmm dont know anout Mike P as £60-80 (for a single color) seems a lot… plus there is the risk of damaging the helmet during postage (?)
My lid was very well packaged and posted back to me fine. I think the others here have had great service from him too mate. As for it being a lot, well a bit more than you’d pay for some stickers yes, but way less than most of the other companies would charge and it’s very well done.
Just another option for you to considor.
