crashed my bike

Folks,
having not crashed a bike before( luck more than riding skill) i am in need of some advice,
after a low speed spill in france last week causing me to twat the floor pretty hard (nearside) and break a couple of ribs and my mental spirit i feel like setting fire to my bike my 06 BLADE that was my pride and joy now looks like crap,

i have screwed the radiator (needs replacing) and the right hand engine casing (small hole which a bodge job with silicone got me back from france)
the front nose cone needs replacing and the front left upper fairing and rear fairing needs a good paint job

any ideas on london/se or kent based fairing repair shops/sprayers
a source for a new rad and engine cover
any help would be gratefully received
cheers jim

Bad luck fella, but it happens to us all at some point, so at least you’ve gotten it out of the way. Hope the ribs heal up quickly.

The bike doesn’t sound too bad, eBay is pretty good for sourcing replacement parts. That’s how I’ve done it before.

cheers,jay
think i have found a replacement seat for a good price, just phoned aaron rads in croydon and they sound pretty helpfull, so just a few bits more to go,
it was a right old blow to be honest i was not even riding like a knob which makes things worse,

There’s a place down in Ramsgate that does repairs and re-sprays.

It’s call the Bike Clinic, here is the link to their website

Sorry to hear about your off. I know what you mean when you say you just want to take a match to it because I feel like im jinxed at the moment.

All expensive business. Hope you get it all sorted.

Hope the ribs heal soon.

eBay is your friend

Unlucky, dude. I can certainly recommend David Silver Spares for any parts you may need. Used them before and they’re well priced (although still not as cheap as eBay can be, as they’re new).

Hope you heal up soon, the bike can be fixed, good to hear you are OK (ish) GWS.

thanks for the support, ribs are still in tatters but in the cold light of day the bike aint to bad, david silver has been the best bet so far, cheers folks

Sorry to hear what happened, hope you a quick recovery.

I found he was good too

Having said that I do have a right hand side black 05 fairing if you want it - not bad nick - off a hire bike I scuffed in transit… top and belly parts.

Ouch. I hope you get well soon. The bike is secondary, but you should be able to get it repaired for minimal expenditure. I found DSS good when I was sourcing bits for my VFR.

Nigel from Amazing Bikes does repairs and resprays as well. he has done quite a few of the Triumph Race bikes in the Bemsee series. Does a good job for fair money. www.amazingbikes.co.uk I know he is in Ibiza this week and perhaps next, but give them a call for a quote.

cheers for the offer, ironically its the only bit that was unscathed, typical,
