The CRASH scheme was introduced a couple of years ago and has proved successful so far. It was introduced with the help of the Isle Of Man Ambulance Service at this years TT and seemed to go down well with bikers.

Take a look and sign up for it, it’s a worthwhile scheme and it’s free

I’m a bit confused… You keep this card in your wallet and have a green sticker on your visor?

So unless you know about this scheme you wouldn’t know how to look for it when making the 999 call?

I agree it’s good for the ambulance crew though. However the website doesn’t say how we can get one… :frowning:

It is mainly there for 999 crews to have some I C E details ( In Case of Emergency) and relevant medical/allergy information so that they don’y have to waste valuable moments trying to work out this information in the event .

Essex have had this in place for a while and crews know the relevance of the green dot … som even think that placing the detail card inside helmets is the best option rather than wallets . as wallets can be thrown/dislodged and helmets tend to remain in place execpt in very messy situations …

They recommend putting the card under the lining in your lid. It’s more for emergency services than the public to get details.

I think, anyway to aid the people trying to save your life, is a good thing indeed.

I have one. I got it on BikeSafe.

What have you got to loose??
