As we were leaving the Ace last night some Polish guy knocked a guy off his bike
From the jest of it the guy had no insurance and no UK licence .
Does anyone know if the guy from the bike called the cops or if he/she is OK? We left as nothing good will come of getting MAD at some people that should not be on the road knocking off someone on their P&J
Im in Perivale, just around the corner from the Ace, and the whole arfea is Polski now, guess it might hark back to the old days when the polish spitfire ace’s flew out of Northolt.
We got two guys opposite who brought a UK reg car, all they seem to do is sit in it on the drive at night in leather refer jackets smoking and listening to music, oh they also seem to be running it on used chip fat.
Curious to know what the law is regarding EU registered cars in terms of insurance and MOT, my insurance only covers me for a maximum 45 days continous stay in europe.
I’m Polish Londonbiker, and I think those Poles came to UK after border opens when Poland join to EU. I came to Britain almost eight years ago. In that time I have to prove myself to UK Home Office than I’m good person who wants to work legaly and don’t make any troubles. Some of Poles are bad some or them good, same as English or another nationalities. What can I say about it that I feel shame than my own people doing wrong things . But not all of us the same…
Chap on a Hornet was doing a number of wheelies for a good part of the evening. Portugese chap I belive.
No gloves, or protective gear whatsoever! trainers and hoodie.
Anyway, believed he was doing wheelie on wrong side of road past slow moving traffic. Some chap in cage pulled over to right to park up on and watch as many do. Clearly didn’t look in mirror or indicate. Caught chap on Hornet.
In my view, very lucky to escape serious injury or worse. Only vsible injury was a nasty looking gravel rash up back.
Could imagine how sore he was in mornin’
Olb bill did turn up as did LAS. Gave him once over. From the body language of the Police there they didn’t seem to be siding with the biker. Many witnesses there to verify lack of indicator etc
However, not meaning to be judge and jury, in my view biker wasn’t acting particulary safe?
Just glad he wasn’t seriously injured. His bike was though. Engine casing split, oil over road, forks totally mangled. Write off!
