Complete newbie

Looking forward to all that riding has to offer, even for those who start in middle age. I’m happy to start on a 125, so I bought this one off a London Bikers member who also told me about the forum. DAS and a bigger bike are probably in the not-too-distant future, but why rush?

Nice bike, great colours. The first few years are the best every new experience always seems amazing.

welcome to the family

Welcome, Where was the Picture taken? it’s a really good backdrop. Is that over by Pageant Crescent?

Because bigger bikes are proper fun

Welcome to our world

Sam, if I were a gambling man I’d wager that picture was taken from the embankment at the end of Wyatt Close off Vaughan Street

Welcome to the madhouse

Welcome  I think I recognise that little gem! What bike are you thinking of upgrading to after your DAS?

Welcome to the club! Always nice to see new members

You and your backdrops

Welcome.

“why rush?”, I agree.

There’s nothing like “miles under the belt” and experience.

I’ve got nothing against DAS and jumping on a powerfull bike
except personal experience… my best friend took to bikes, in
his late 30s, passed his DAS and got a 675. Now he’s dead.
The accident investigators said it was a freak accident, his
back wheel skidded on a bend and he hit on coming traffic.

Be carefull and enjoy bikes for as long as you can, my other
half keeps reminding me I’ve been riding for nearly 40 yrs! ooch.
I made her do 40,000 miles and about 4 years on a 250cc bike
then a SV650 before she got a ZX6R.

you and me both

welcome, play safe and have fun

Welcome!
That is a nice looking bike, taking your time with the 125 is a wise decision.

Welcome to LB and welcome to the family!

Time for a tattoo!

Kidding!

Not far off. A bit further down the river, near Greenland Dock.

Not sure. Every day, I see another bike that looks brilliant, so I’m pretty fickle.

At the moment, I like the Moto Guzzi V7. I’m American (but then you knew that), so there’s always the risk that I’m programmed to go for a cruiser. But we’ll just have to wait and see.

That’s why I’m not a gambling man …

Helsinki Square, even has a Suzuki ring about it
