compact puncture repair kit

have been looking for one of those quick tyre repair kits to stash under my seat and found this:

http://www.gryyp.com/cargol/

hein gericke and others sell a similar kit but it seemed to be of a lower quality to me and didnt come with a kit bag to keep it tidy

gryyp’s online shop is a bit flakey but this place sell it with free P&P:

That’s an awful lot more than the Rema Tip Top kit which you can often find for about £18. I’ve used the Rema three times now, and it works a treat, taking about 10min start to finish. (I’m not a technical person!)

That looks remarkably like a self tapping screw - much cheaper at Screwfix, and used for emergency tyre repairs since I were a lad!.

I bought a kit from wemoto.com for about a score. It comes with a bunch of sticky worms but luckily not needed it yet:cool:

Not sure I fancy the screw in idea much.

Got one of this, tried it once. worked well.

Doesn’t fit under 675’s seat though :stuck_out_tongue:

Looks great!

I use the sticky worm system and find their excellent too.

I’ve been recommended crafty pluggers. They look/sound like the sticky worms.

You aint gona get a puncture in your garage are ya ;)

FOff Wanchor:PI bought me TL to the inbreds meet specially for you and you never turned up cos it was too cold:w00t:Anyway you wouldn’t know where my garage was as that was another No-Show the other weekend;):P:D

Sorry I missed your once a year ride mate

A few that was there mentioned wot a natrual you looked on it mate and think its now time to take the stabilisers off it :D:P

Chunky, is this the one you bought cos I’m in the market for something and can’t find where to buy wiggly worms:

BMW do a kit, with plugs and air cylinders, for under £20 quid.

Yes mate, that looks like the one i’ve bought. Seems well made to me:)

The instructions are in double dutch but there are videos on youtube that show you how to use them:cool:

Any links to that BMW kit? I need something small for under the seat as well…

I don’t think you can buy (the BMW kit) mail order. But if you call Park Lane BMW (assuming you’re in central London) they will make sure they’ve got one in for you, and will hold it for a couple of days while you pick it up. (If you’re quick, you can park on the pavement outside the showroom).

'sepct other BMW dealers will do the same.

(No connection to BMW. Someone tipped me off that their kit was small and reasonably priced. I got one a couple of yrs back, but have never had to use it - and my tyres are Ultrasealed anyway, so I hope that’d kick in before I needed a plug)

Essential Rubber stock the crafty Pluggers (same as sticly worm stuff).

I just received a ktt from wemoto (how quick ??!! :w00t: ) but where would I find an instructional video on youtube ? Would prefer to know how to use it before I actually need it !
