Coming over to play.

Howdy peeps… I just got back from Glasto, which was ace!! but the whole way down the motorway on teh way there in 28 degrees sun i think I only had one phrase…“I want to be on my bike!!!” So I’m in the UK during the first week of August. I got to stop in Loughborough on the first night, but then I’m heading down towards London… sooooooo

WHAT WE GONNA DO???

We’re going to burn up London town, that’s what we’re going to do, we do it every Friday night and August will be no different! I have to check, but I might not be in the country for part of August, we’ll have to see. Would be great to have you down mate.

Sounds good to me… I’ll be over that way around the 30th July until the following week… I got a few gigs to check out for me band was then thinking of meeting some of you guys… Whats the craic with hotels and secure parking? Anyone got any suggestions… up your way Jay?

Now all I have to do is not fecking break the bike again!!

/fooking italian peice of fooking… grumble…mutter…

Hi there Floyd… Hope you didn’t get too soaked at Glasto… unfortunatly missed out on going this year!!! We’ll surely burn up a lot a rubber on these mean streets when you come over…
Take care till then…

Hey Foxy… Some how I think I managed to sleep through the rain! … the first couple of days was soo hot and then I remember falling into my tent on Friday morning at about 5am and then this mad rain started and some pretty serious thunder… which was then followed by everyone in our camp going “ner nerr ner ner ner ner ner ner” (the intro bit to AC/DC’s thunderstruck… drugs are bad… m’kay!)… Luckily we didn’t get flooded out and by Saturday afternoon it was back to sunburn hell… it was as always a totally amazing experience… Watched some serious hardcore mentalness called SquarePusher… check it out!!

Blokey has picked me bike up and is giving it lots of TLC so hopefully it’ll be right for the weekend… Looking forward to August and meeting up with you guys…

Reading about Glasto took me right back …way back…back into time… (Oh my god…I hear a tune coming on!!)
Lookin forward to meeting you too Floyd… I work for a Ducati garage part time so don’t worry about your baby too much… Take care…

Cool… you work for a Ducati garage… Aprilia must be like that spotty cousin you never really liked then yeah? lol Nah, sweet… good to know someone knows how it works!

So my plan so far is this…

I arrive just before lunch on Sunday 31st July. This is where the plan ends!

I got a mate down in London somewhere that I was gonna visit and a couple of mates on the way down around the Donnington area… Whats the “doing a track day” possibilities during the week? At somepoint I am riding straight through to Newquay to get my leg tattoo finished at Atlantic Coast Tattoo Studio. So when do things happen for you peeps? Any ideas… cause I’m easy… apparently!

I claim to know a bit!!! If not, practically everybody I know works wiv bikes!
I’ll have to look into the Track day thing for ya…

So… the rumours are true then!!!

Well as you’re over here around the 30th July, be sure to check out Bike Fest on the 31st July in Millwall, south east London. I’m sure Jay and co will be there. How about it Jay? I will be going with riders inc.

Hey Badman. I don’t know anything about this event, have you got more info?

Hi Badman… was good to put a face to the name lastnight…
Have you got a link or a flyer you can put up on the site about the 31st July? Would like to find out more!!!

It was nice to see you, Jay and co. flyers seem to be a bit scarce at the mo. I have the link for the company who are hosting the event: http://www.supremeriders.com/new/e107_plugins/imagegallery/imagegallery.php?cat.1.0.5

this is the link for the gallery which was from last year. As soon as I get a flyer i’ll post it up.

Thanks for that… Look forward to seeing the flyer…

A copy of the flyer is now on: http://www.supremeriders.com for your viewing!!!

Hehehe cool, they’ve got Eddie on there doing a stoppie on his old R1, nice. I’ll be there, cover the event for LB.

Hey Floyd… Have you managed to find anywhere to stay yet??? If not let me know… DUDE!!!

Hey Foxy…

I’ve no idea where I’m staying… any suggesstions would be top!! I’m kinda **** at planning things… tend to roll up and then wish I had arranged something! lol… The one thing I was kinda worried about was leaving my bike on the streets at night… she’s a right flirt and will attract trouble!

What night is the night to be with you peeps then? I’m over for a week, sunday to sunday. At some point I’m gonna ride towards Ashford and then onto Newquay where I’m getting some viking armour body art done and some sufin’…totally…DUDE!! but thats not really planned for anytime really… I’m guessing fridays is your big nights out??

So whats the craic

“the first couple of days was soo hot and then I remember falling into my tent on Friday morning at about 5am and then this mad rain started and some pretty serious thunder”

ha ha, yes I went too, utterly mental, and the first two days [wed, thu] were insanely hot, the whole sacred stones field was empty bar the shaded bits that were just human soup… so I “liberated” a load of rope from a security compound, tied a tarpaulin via 2 trees and the security fence & hey presto, sunshade . . . . sat am, rainshade/brolly . . . it made the whole thing more bearable -see pic - post storm

Did you clock the lost vagueness/mutiod waste guy chugging his bike round playing a loop of “born to be wild” - class

lol… nice one chap! We were in the campervan field so didnt really get effected by the rain…

I didnt see the bike guy but met this robotic horse that had flames coming out his nose… friday night I had a ‘moment’ and missed loads and then saturday it was back to sunburn hell!!

“We were in the campervan field so didnt really get effected by the rain…”

f**** CHEAT ! …seriously, any advantage should be taken, campervans are fab, you have major advantages when it rains, nice toilet etc.etc. … I dont have one, but do use a 9 man tent with only 1 of the 3 pods installed, plenty of space to change/dry/chillout … also I always pitch up at the very top - in the dragon field as in my experience rain & water in general seems to go downhill . . . also not getting sun blazing down on you at 6am [an hour before bedtime] is nice

sadly i missed the robotic horse, and stupidly missed the repeats Mr TV was no doubt replaying
