Gutted for the Ausies but they should have tried pressing home when they had a one man advantage. The ref was useless, the Italian should never have been sent off and that was never a penalty either, what the defender was doing sunbathing on the grass though I would have to question. The Italians have done the job all the way through so far, they might be boring but they are getting the results.
