Color = Poser?

So I have noticed recently a trend in the sport bikes around the town, it seems like you can spot the posers by what color bike they have…

Sadly from what I’ve seen the scale is this:

Starting with the most poser color

Yellow

Green (Kawi and normal)

White

Grey

Orange

Red

Blue

Black

I was wondering what you guys thought about this situation.

Poser = umm as you guys would say a chav with two wheels

COLOUR YOUNG MAN!!! C-O-L-O-U-R…

you is in England now innit so talk proppa!

Good research. Yellow is definitely the way of the poser Mine is black

HAHA amd my one is red HAHA

So you are calling yourself a poser…

Blue/White is popular over here.

Far to popular I’m afraid…

nothing wrong with blue/white but i agree with your obsrevations about the yellow posers

Errr Candy Blue and purple oh yeh bit of silver as well

Blue & White is popular coz it’s faster!

M9 … looks wise mate, that bike of yours is stunning. Never thought that candy blue and purple (with a touch of silver) would look good, it doesn’t, it looks amazing.

As for the blue / white combo, yep, it looks great but just a bit too common if you ask me.

Yellow … a bit bright for me but it does look good on the right bike - Flatouts looks great but don’t tell him I said so !!

Blue and white is popular everywhere (probably due to Suzuki being uber popular).

I am would not consider myself a poser (maybe for pictures…)

As for my English… Ich spreche Deutsch sehr gut… Engländer sind blöd.

“Poser = umm as you guys would say a chav with two wheels”

Sportsbike riders always look quite ‘chavvy’ though

Question - are they provable posers ore are you prejudiced against them because of the colour??? How can you tell a poser at the traffic lights ???

Mine = Red / White … with huge posey chrome high-pipes

Well in America… head to the gixxer.com forum and strike up a conversation and you’ll quickly discover exactly went I mean.

Guys who “know” they are badasses but they never go to the track, can’t do any stunts, and their back has a wear band about an inch wide.

Don’t get me wrong, I love riding with guys who just like to ride, but the guys I am referring to in the topic are the ones who barely know anything about riding and boast about how good they are. I have found that color draws a strong correlation to this attitude, not all the time of course, but mostly.

Fair enough!!!

I just wish they made bikes in more colours than the standard red/black/blue or possibly silver…
