I always sh1t myself when I suddenly find myself inside a large red circle.
The rally one reminded me of marshalling at Brands Hatch for the British rallycross grand prix.
There was a photographer who advised us not to stand next to him as one of the drivers was trying to kill him for some reason that I forget.
We took his advice and moved slightly, sure enough after the second lap there was a tyre track between his footprints.
This “game” was played at every round of the championship that year.
Didn’t have 'elfandsafety back in the '80s…
