Still organising this.
Going to meet at the Ace (unless another easy meet point is suggested), at 8am?
Ride around London a bit for some fun.
Then back to the Ace at 10am to head to Bikesafe in Hendon.
Still trying to figure out a meet point that works- not everyone wants to go to the Ace and then back into London again. I am not from around here, so any suggestions?

We could go to Borough Market for a sausage/bacon sandwich rather than breakfast at the Ace?

How about starting at Borough Market to get fortified? Then work outwards back to the Ace?
A nice idea in theory but the website says BM opens at 9 on a Saturday … so if people want to meet at 8/earlier then that won’t work …
For the record … I’m happy to come up to the Ace if that’s where everyone else wants to meet … just seems a bit silly to endure the A40 twice if we’re travelling back to my neck of the woods anyway EDIT : I’m more than happy to just meet at 9 for breakfast at Borough as an alternative to breakfast at the Ace if others are up for it - though would mean just going straight from Borough to Ace rather than having a potter around
I’m up for this and can meet at Embankment or Borough. I don’t know how to get to the Ace.

I think the original idea was to start at silly o clock early and do some sightseeing before the traffic woke up

I’m easy with the either location of Embankment or Borough. I don’t mind meeting at 9 either if that suits others. Who’s all going and what’s everyone’s thoughts?

Though I suppose as long as you’re out of bed by 8:50 … that nice clean sprocket/chain should have you over from Ilford in time

I was thinking more like 7.30 at Borough - the roads won’t be empty at 9am. And if we decide to meet then - let’s face it, we won’t get going until 9.45…!

How about this: those who want to do an EARLY early, meet at Borough Market at 7.30, then ride up to the Ace for 9am, to meet the rest there for brekkie?
