so i go to vehicle enquiry and look at the ‘Date of Liability’?

Vehicle enquiry will give the date of liability, but only if there is a future ofr current liability. Not always the case Also check the line that says “Vehicle Status”. If the bike is taxed it will say “license not due”. If it is SORNed it will say so etc.
