ouch… doesn’t surprise me. Terrain like that can make you completely lose control of the bike. He’s lucky but it didn’t look like a really big height. The rocks could have been an issue.
He’s fortunate that his injuries weren’t too bad. Seems a bit stupid to outrun your buddy on terrain like that though. A bit like swimming off from your dive buddy.
