If I had a balder the size of my fuel tank, would it be possible to fill the toilet to the brim in one outing or would it stay at the same level near the bottom?
It depends on what you did in the toilet beforehand. If you block it, you brim it :w00t:
Nope.
In a flat I used to live in - when the washing machine was on - the kitchen sink would back up … one time it led to water p*ssing all over the floor.
Turned the washing machine off at the plug and started emptying the sink - washing up bowl full of water at a time. Couldn’t chuck it into the bath since the missus was lounging amongst the bubbles so threw it down the loo and the level stayed the same.
No number 2 prior the number 1 that begged the question. Doubt the number 3 earlier caused it
If I had a balder That sounds painful.
Forget the answer from Mr-C , that was some seriously fouled up waste plumbing.
If everything is as it should be and you don’t block the waste trap at the bottom of the bog, the water level will stay the same not matter what you dump.
The trap is simply a small weir. If you fill up the bit of water you can see it simply overflows into the drain bit you can’t see and runs away.
Of course, whether you can flush what you dumped is another matter.
It’s fair to say the plumbing wasn’t the only thing wrong with that flat.
If the chap in the flat upstairs was having a shower … his surplus water squeezed through our bathroom celing light fitting and made it flicker
It goes without saying we didn’t stay long :w00t:
What’s that then? :hehe:
If I was a little bit taller…if I was a balder…etc?
