I need a new chain an sprocket never having bought one before looking for opinions on brands to look for and to avoid. Also i have a GPZ 500 if it helps

I need to replace mine to but I’m not home mechanic so want to pay somebody to do it.
Has anybody used the AFAM kits FWR are doing? Are they good?
They said it would be £100 + £35 for fitting for an X-ring for my bike. Fair deal?
Afam are good chains - have runthem before with no complaints. The kit price and fitting sounds good - (as long as it is chain & sprockets that are being changed)

We’ll be along there tomorrow to get a tyre for Jools’ bike - I refuse to fit hers, I’ll only do my own
I’ll also be fitting a lovely new rear to mine tomorrow - hopefully the balance weights will turn up today.
24K+ so far for the one on my 1200 Bandit & still going strong.
Oh & just to really pee all the anal retentives on here right off, no it’s never ever been cleaned either… 
yea, got AFAM gold chain and sprocket set twice from FWR, had no probs, looks nice clean as well!

I use EK Chain and Sprockets… but by the sounds of it i’d give AFAM a go too…
DID chain and AFAM sprockets work for me.
