Any professional tilers on board?

I have a couple of ceramic tiles that have discoloured, and I’m not talking about slightly but really noticably differently darker. The tiles are glazed so don’t think there’s an issue with sealing.

There are just two tiles out of the whole bathroom, at the base of the shower unit, fitted eighteen months ago, that have gone within the last week or so.:crazy:

Depends on the tile type.

If they are glazed on a terracotta base they could be damp. Check the grout around them, it may be slightly soft if so.
Grout is actually slightly porous, but should last way longer than 18 months.
