CBR600RR

No, but since when has that been a barrier to you and your spanners? :hehe:

I was thinking more of welding a wheelie bar to it

The reasons for this elude me
You however, you can keep your welding malarkey well away from my swing arm

I’d Keep it.

If you are in a possition to be able to reasonably afford to keep it in the garage and know it will be secure (if it gets knicked, how will you know till you get back) then i would do so. Then when you get back you have no issues of finding another bike, you can jump straight on it and away you go

Or…

What country you going to? Is it a rideable distance?? Can you fly over there and get settled, then a month or 2 later we can arrange a ride out to you and you can fly back home and we can all keep you company as you ride it back so you have a toy to play with when you are there

or you let me commute on it while you are away, just to keep in running in good order you understand, I would do that for you, as a favour, to you. absolutely no benefit to me what so ever!! none, not even a little bit.

Love the idea but, if I do go, the amount of water to cross would make even Art shudder :w00t:
I’m in the very fortunate position to have three offers right now and one of them is still in London. But as I said, I have a commitment here in early November so I won’t be making any snap decisions right now.
If I keep it, I have neighbours who can keep a weather eye on my garage and deal with anything that might happen.

Your in the perfect situation then. It’s a lovely looking bike, very subtle but still very “Racey” looking. If I were you and in your situation I would definitely keep hold of it.

wise decision i went abroad for 6 months things happened that lead me to be away for 5 years so i quickly popped back rented out my flat ,stored the bike and car.when i returned i was so glad i had things to come back too ,never cut all your ties, you never know whats gonna happen next…

Well right now, everything changed and things are on hold for a while.
I’ll keep you posted
