is it possible to make a honda cbr125 from sports to streetfighter and remove the plastics…would the headlights etc still be secured?
It can be done, Ive seen people streetfighter a rs125, they weld bar risers onto the top yoke and then put renthals on, then replace the front headight cowling with either twins or single headlight and job done
nice one mate…thats food for thought…so once you streetfighter a sports bike,am i right in thinking that is not irreversable??
You could change it back, depends on how much work you do in the first place, like you could get a spare top yoke to weld the risers onto and then keep the standard one for when you put it back to standard, with the front lights u may need to change some wiring so that could be a bit more long winded when bringing back to standard.
the cbr125 is soo small and skinny you have to think if it will look right fighterd.
when putting renthals on itll probly be best gettigng a 2nd hand top yoke and welding on some risers or drill some holes and bolt them on. then you have to think about longer brake lines, throttle cables ect…
as for the headlight, you can take the fairing off and check were the light is mounted on the bike then cut the fairing down to something like this…
nice one…i was wondering if it was possible to just remove the side plastic panels but keep the plastics at the front (around the headlight) .
the reason im asking is because on saturday night some twat knocked me off…he pulled out infront of me whilest at a stop junction (solid white line)…i was on the main road and had the right of way…so i am looking at saving costs raplacing the plastics.
