heading from Catford towards Sydenham/Forest Hill on the South Circular, as you approach the bridge watch out for the mother of all potholes, it is a about 6-8feet from the near side curb near the edge of the bus lane.
where can you report this stuff to the council?
The local council will have a page on the website for highways. You can either phone them or do it online…

They’re not quick though. Reported the Vauxhall cross one on there when I started the thread and it still hasn’t been done. 
My experience is that the council website might be quicker than TfL, Enfield certainly were when I reported one last year. Although maybe that was because it was on the approach to a zebra crossing and I asked them to consider the possible consequences if a pothole that was their responsibility brought down a biker who was braking for a pedestrian using it…
