Cat Litter!

SpiderMonkey’s Tip of the Day:

When your Machine Mart oil syringe plays up and dumps half a litre of gear oil on your garage floor, don’t worry. Just reach for your bag of Sainsburys Basics cat litter and sprinkle some over the offending stain. Next day you can sweep up the oily litter and dispose of it, leaving little more than a dark patch on your garage floor.

Very good tip - I shall remember that

Also… if you do own your own garage make sure you seal the concrete and give it a lick of garage paint - that way in the morning when you sweep up your cat litter - there’ll not even be a dark mark!

You could start your own tv show, how clean is your garage.

mmm now there’s an idea…

m

what happens if ya only have a concrete driveway? and no cat?!

You can use cat liter to keep your fridge smelling fresh but I’d advise using new stuff from the packet rather than try and recycle some that’s been used already…

hehe, or a zest fresh lemon!!

I want a Garage Glade Air freshener that smells of Castrol R

Can you now explain to most members what that is

They will have to ask their dad’s…lol

Oh how i miss the great smell of Castrol R.

Wow, owning your very own garage. Is such a thing possible? I have to rent mine from a wideboy because I am poor (hence the Sainsburys Basic cat litter rather than a brand with a bit more kudos.)

lol! I couldn’t afford to rent one only have mine because I live outside the M25 and it’s part of the house.

Sealing is a must though - and even if you rent it surely the owner wouldn’t mind you doing that?

Yeah, it’s not a bad idea. Will look into the price of floor paint…
