Well im now 24, left the Army a couple of months ago and am thinking of heading into the Fire Service.
Anyone on here part of the service? London based or not.
How’s things with the recruitment? I remember at one time whilst I was still in the forces a few lads who left tried joining but they were really struggling to get work…is it still the same?
With regards to pay, does it increase yearly or is it only with promotion…how often can that come around?
At the moment its a option in my head. Don’t plan on things happening over night but would like to have an idea of a career within the next few months. Sooner the better though.
