Was wondering if anyone has the details of a good, reliable car mechanic preferably in the NW London/Herts area.
Our car is over 3 years old now, so no need for main dealer servicing and looking to keep costs reasonable.

Go on the “Honest John” (he’s the Telegraphs Motoring Q&A man) web site.
He used to have a whole “Tried and Tested” section for independent motor mechanics/garages and the like. (I’d guess it’s still there.)
I found the independent I used for years there and they were brilliant
