Did anybody see a car in the Thames near Putney on Monday*? I didn’t - and I did ride across Putney bridge a couple times on Monday evening - but I’ve heard about it from three independent people now and it just seems too bizarre to have been invented.
Does anybody know the story of this car? Or whether it was even there?
*Yeah, Monday. To distinguish it from all those other cars we’ve had in the Thames recently. Obviously.

OMG Chunkey! I know exactly where that ramp is - its my contemplating spot! I usually stop there about once every couple of months - usually quite late, have a quick cigarette and a sit down and zoom off again. Very peaceful and quiet - good view of Greenwich too.
Used to be a favourite trick of the scumbags in Woolwich using the ferry ramps late at night. Probably when they’d had enough of their latest “borrow”.
Not sure what changed things, but have heard no reports in the last few years.
