car got broken into

got my car window smashed in by scally scum in a multi-story carpark this afternoon :crying:
teach me to use the car instead of bike, but dont feel good enough to take missus on the bike yet

hope you are all having better evenin’s

Sorry to hear that mate, sucks big time!

My neighbour had a similar experience today, he and his missus went out shopping this morning, parked his car in the car park, when he came back some lowlife scumbag had reversed into it and then promptly buggered off.

Ordinarily that sounds like it’s not the end of the world, you’d expect a minor ding and some scratched paint, maybe a broken lense but the car in question is a 911 turbo. The damage is all down the drivers side so it’s gonna need a new front wing, door, mirror, the rear quarter took the bulk of the hit and is completely mullered, plus both wheels will need replacing, whoever hit it must have been in a van or a truck to do that much damage and to be able to drive off without anyone noticing.

I’d have probably gone after them with a shotgun if it had been my car!!

damn thats annoying!!

i got off very lightly in comparison, just £70 excess down national windscreens and hey presto end of hassle, although i faffed about for an hour in tesco car park taping up the window before i could get it fixed

take it down the local car wash tomorrow and it will be as if nothing happened except for all the hassle and wasted time, stoopid druggies

ouch! n here i thought them car parks are supposed to be safe!!! you check to see if there was any cctv?

Sorry to hear that mate.

did they take anything or was it just the window?

Gutted for you hope you rebuild your pride.

cheers

nothing was on display and there was nothing to take so just the passenger front window was smashed, got national windows to fix it last night which was a relief cause round here it would have gone if it had just plastic to protect it from the elements overnight

yeah there is CCTV but they ride in with hoodies etc, police know its a hot spot and cant do anything about it, but really its up to NCP to have manned patrols, their guy never turned up…letter of complaint on its way
