alright hope someone can help. haven’t started it in about 4 weeks, d’oh. anyway went to start it up on Monday and although it was trying wouldn’t turn over.
I’ve had the battery out and on charge over night. but still no joy this morning.
any tips or hints?

Have you tried bumping or jumping it?
Are you sure the battery is in A1 condition and holding a good charge?
got it, after a good three hours. yeah think the battery is fine. I just haven’t run it in a bit, think that it’d settled, I’ve had it running for the past 15 mins, giving it a break then going to see if it will restart.

might have been a sticking clutch/propstand switch, give em a spray of wd40 or similar
Surely it wouln’t have tried to start if that was the case?
