You lot are a sensible bunch so perhaps you’ll make me understand.

I have just head that attacks on fire crews have risen 25% in the past year.

I cannot fathom why anyone would want to attack a service that rescues you.

Why do idiots attack them? What is the rationale? The police I understand but why fire crews? Is it because they are perceived to be part of the establishment?
