so turns out the 675 runs a sodding hot headlight and not only did the tape over the headlight get a little melty, but when we peeled off the tape the plastic of hte headlight had actually melted!!! never seen this on a trackday, will pull the fuse in future…
anyway, can the glass itself be bought and replaced? easy job?
i replaced mine on my SV dude, is the headlight one whole unit that comes out of the fiaring?
if it is it should be doable, i did mine by breaking the seal on the unit wiht a heat gun, slowly prized the lens away from the casing, while the glue was still hot we used it to re-seal the other non cracked lens.
BOSH! job done.
Ebay i think for a lens, i had mine sitting around already so i didnt have to buy one.

Pretty sure it’s a moulded unit, PM frenchy as he may have a spare, Why don’t you just unplug the three pin connector??
will be doing in future - like i say been on a lot of trackdays and never seen this happen - normally just the tape melts/peels a little.
