What swayed you against the K7? I take it then you would require the person to wait whilst you test ride just to make sure you’re not stranded in Norwich? Where do you live too as I assume you need a pick up?
I doubt there’d be any problems with bike, as it still has 6 months warranty & looks perfect. I’ve checked all documents and unless bike doesn’t start, then I’ll be riding it home! So once I’ve started bike, your welcome to leave.
I’m in Gravesend, but always get public transport to somewhere more convenient , ie London, etc.
The K7 had 8400 miles, no alarm, no warranty, due for tax & mot … and was located past Newcastle (7+ hrs drive?).
I can get after market parts cheep enough, like exhaust for £250, etc
how long is the drive from london to norwich ?

Where can you pick up a full exhaust system that price? I want a loud system for my bike but everything is atleast 300+
norwich shouldn’t take 2 hours, you might get caught in traffic from elverden to thetford area. When you come back from norwich come off at Attleborough and head towards watton on the B1077 its easy t0 find from attleborough, then once you come to watton centre get on the A1075 towards thetford.
Its a great little route i took the LB lot there a few weeks ago.
It will put a smile on your face for the rest on the journey, couple of great roads, here is the google maps link.

I found a jardine gp1 exhaust for about that price. Though I believe these are LOUD! Which is what I am after. Most other quieter exhaust are £300+ … Can try locate link for you.
Don’t know if it’ll fit on the K8 thou, but a hammer might do the trick
I generally get trains/planes to collect stuff, far easier that way!! I’m off to Huddersfield by train tomorrow to collect a car, laptop/tea/toilets/sleep, get to your destination all refreshed ready for the journey home :D:D
