Here’s a hot new two-wheel concept that we hope will find its way into production. From motorcycle designer Tim Cameron comes a new bike called the CAF-E which uses a hybrid drivetrain similar to the Hybrid Synergy Drive in the Toyota Prius. In addition to using an electric motor in the drivetrain, the gasoline engine is also force-fed air through an electrically driven supercharger.
The bike carries a 180V litium ion battery which is placed central and low to the ground, to help weight distribution.
