Just looking for a quick bit of wisdom from the LB BrainI’ve put a deposit down on an 08 plate R6 used as an instructor track bike from Californian Superbike School.
Its…
Never been crashed ( or so they tell me )
Will have around 4k on the clock
Still be taxed and under warranty until July 09
Providing its not trashed on its last track day i’ll have it November for 4 grand.
Has anyone ( or does anyone know ) someone who’s bought of CSS or a similar school and what were the results?
Is this a good deal?
If so does anyone want to buy an 08 R6 still under warranty for 5.5 K
Far as I know and seen , the instructor bikes are R1’s and the student bikes they hire are r6. General the bike would not of been to trashed because thats not what they do at the school, its more about skill training.
The guy who looks after them (can not remember his name) is a top mechanic and there where always kept in good condition.
Are they putting the standard fairings back on? On the school day they had cheap glass fibre jobs and where fully R&G up!!
Hope it helps.
The fairings will be the originals. They strip them from new and put there own cheap crap on.
I’m going to there office in Northampton tomorrow for a look at it before its thrashed to death in Spain.
I’m just going to sell it on for a profit with a bit of luck…
