I’m looking at a streetfightered TLR today and need some advice, its been stood for a couple of years but has been started regularly, dyno read out of 125bhp with k&n filter and airbox lid removed, it also has had one of its fans and the header tank removed ‘with no issues’. Does anyone know if these are common mods and if they cause any probs. One final thing what bad stuff should I look out for as I’m not familiar with Tillers being an R1 rider and ex TLS. Thanks guys
not heard of the fan and header tank mod but the airbox sounds right , we do see them with spacers under the tank bolts (by the headstock) to help with the airflow into the airbox.

My TLR , with all coolant system intact will run upto 110degrees in town so fugg knows how hot it would get without a fan!!!:crying:
Removing the airbox lid is a bullsh!t mod, sacrifices power for noise. The only airbox mod proven to work on a TLR is the Joe V mod.
