I can drive again! And I can keep my bike licence! Just have to send it all off to the DVLA for them to add some codes saying what adaptions I need. It was nice to drive again.
The work thing was a bit more complicated, but I’m going back to work for 4 hours a week, and slowly build up to full hours over many months. I’ve got to have a work place assessment of where I work to make sure they have made all reasonable adjustments for my disability. It’s still as bit unclear what my long term future is, and what I can expect to do in the future. Still, no one has asked for my driving permit back yet
Oh and my boy’s fine, no longer needs to be on medication, and he doesn’t have to go to London to see the specialists anymore!
excellent news John…and glad to hear about your boy which must have been a real worry…no good worrying about your arm…or lack of…was thinking about you the other day and how lucky I am to at least have my hand working, some tasks one handed are just downright impossible…
