Undertake was a bit naughty but at least he wasn’t hogging the over taking lane! Unlike the police officer :w00t:
As usual the speed quoted seemed way off… it said he reached 127 but that’s only when the police car is closing in…

The undertake was badly timed & dangerous. Car in L3 clearly hogging & the biker undertakes just as the car indicates & moves back into L2. Car could have quite easily continued back into L1.
Im no saint. I do sometimes undertake but not with that amount of speed difference.
Agree with Serrisan though. Id have put his actual speed at 116/120 (though the bike’s speedo might have been showing more)
Please, there are a myriad explanations for that small excession of the national speed limit on a motorway:
But first, was the officers camera and speed check equipment calibrated that morning?
Was the equipment functioning properly and CORRECTLY maintained and serviced as per manufacturers guidance?
Was the officer in the car alone and was it possible he had fiddled with the equipment because he hated bikers?
Was the officer in 100% control of his faculties? No alcohol present in his system? Controlled substances of any kind?
Don’t worry about the speed just yet… let’s deal with those issues first 
With an 18 month ban he’ll have paid off his finance and still have a new bike.
