My Bike was stolen from Shooters Hill SE18 at approx 14.00 this afternoon.
Its a 2002 R1, Black Frame, first fuel injected model with LED tail light. It has the belly pan missing, running a full Yoshi system, Whitby Cafe sticker on the tail, Ring sticker on the nose cone and “what would jesus do” on the tank.
The reg no is AG02 BWZ. The police found it parked in Eaglesfield road 2 mins from my house but as its registered in Yorkshire they sent officers round to my mums and by the time she contacted me it had gone again.

That’s a joke! You’d think the police would have a way of immobilising a stolen bike until the owner can collect it!!
It’s got to be the 2nd time in almost as many weeks that a member’s bike has been found and then nicked again whilst the police faff about informing them.
Happened in 2002 with my R6 in Mitcham, parked outside a GF’s house, chained, disk lock etc, gone, police called 6 hours after I reported saying they had found it behind a parade of shops and by the time I got there it was gone.
Was it low on fuel by any chance?
Sounds like they parked up for fuel… Why don’t you check the very few filling stations around where they found it, see if anything is on their CCTV… I highly doubt they get many people fill up with jerry cans.
