hey guys, really want to go the the bash this year as never been before. not sure if every day is going to be the same as it is spread over a few days?
my worry is that 55 quid a head is alot of money, is it really worth it? what do i get for that?
i went bike fest last year and that was only like a tenna?

Im going there to camp the whole event, thursday till sunday.
you get loadsa music, people, ‘babes’, bikes, beer, drag strip and i think a few stunts.

We pretty much go every year, worked there too the few years I couldn’t afford the ticket, but its definitely worth it, as long as you’ve got a few mates to go with!
Went there 5 years in a row from 1996-2001 It’s brilliant. My elder brother knew the head of the safety crew from when he used be a banger driver. In 2001 he got us complimentary tickets with track passes and I can say dont ever stand & look behind the Fireforce car!.:w00t:
The drag strip’s a hoot, and some of the funny cards etc are absolutely awesome. If you’re into “run wot you brung” you can find out just how fast you can do a quarter-mile straight line, the funfair’s brilliant (but I can only stand and watch of i’d throw up) the wall of death’s something well worth seeing, if you’re into “girlie dancers” they’re on late in the evening on the main stage, if you get into the big marquee early enough (and have a huge bladder!) you can get right up the front for the bands. Status Quo last year was absolutely brilliant, I know of people who would have paid £50 just to see them on their own so I got all the rest for free, and I was within an easy girlie stone’s throw from the stage. Great time.
But bring waterproofs as it looks like it’s going to be a bit soggy for a couple of the days.

so do the different days have different schedules? will i be missing out if i only go for the one day?
Your £55 gets you in, and a space to camp (if you want to) access to the music tents and custom bike show, spectator area for the drag strip and a couple of awesome stunt bike and stunt car shows, loads of trade stalls. Saturday night there’s usually a brilliant fireworks display as well. There are a couple of shower blocks (but the queue’s usually pretty long and babywipes are adequate for a weekend - get a bit pissed and you won’t notice the smel!)
Food and drink is all extra, and you’re not supposed to bring your own booze as it’s a licenced premises and if you’re searched it will be confiscated, but there are loads and loads of cold beers and cider to be had at reasonable prices (if you think £2.50’s reasonable for a large chilled can) and there are burger bars, curry vans, pizza, hog roast, all sorts of things to eat. And the Rotary Club do a storming trade in orange juice. The funfair you have to pay for if you want to go on, and some of the “adult” entertainment is at an extra charge, but I reckon it’s good value for money if you’ve got some mates to go with.
Don’t worry that it’s run by the Hell’s Angels - because it is, it’s probably safer than some other festivals you might attend as I don’t know anyone who’d deliberately plss off a HA, do you?
Check out the website to see a bit more of what’s going on, they might have the programme up there. I don’t know any of the bands that are playing but TBH I’ll probably be too pissed to care by the time the bands are on…
