Any LB’er coming to the Bulldog Bash this weekend???
I am planning to meet up with a few chaps and chapettes in Bromley on friday morning to ride up.
Anyone that cannot make it on friday morning , but is travelling up later in weekend would be welcome to hook up with us , just PM me with contacts n stuff.

Ok folks
Here is the plan for friday morning. Meeting some LB’s at the disused pertol garage at the top ( Bromley end) of Burnt Ash Lane at 09:00 prompt.
Heading to a house in South over (Downham) for 09:15 , then leaving Bromley about 09:30.
Route being taken is , Blackwall Tunnel, M11, M25, A40.
Will be a petrol stop on A40 (TBC) Then on to the Bulldog.
All welcome to join at any part of trip up, or see you in there.
hey, im biking up thurs…meeting people at oxford services around 1 or 2pm…
will be camping till monday so we should all meet up. altho i will not be held responsible for my drunken behaviour…im usually quite docile until the mojitos begin (yes, im bringing all of the appropriate ingredients )
I’m going up on Friday morning. But on my bike with a girlie mage and sig. other on his old, old Triumph we’ll be going too slowly to convoy with you! Give me a wave as you overtake us…
If you’re looking for a good place to have lunch in the general area before you get to Bulldog, I can recommend the pub (don’t know its name) in Hampton Lucy, which is a village just outside Stratford. Had a stonking Steak & Ale pie last year, set me up just right for a weekend of over-indulgence!
If you’re going, feel free to PM me your mobiles to meet up for a beer. I intend parking up the bike and leaving it there until Sunday, won’t be fit to ride it the rest of the time.
If you haven’t been before you’ve got to go. Weather’s supposed to be reasonable, drag strip is awesome, sooooo many bikes to look at and not only in the custom show, and there’s bound to be the odd (some VERY odd) male to rest your eyes on. (Oh if you’re a bloke you can hang around near the topless bike-wash but I was thinking more of something for the girlies…)
definitely camp…besides…the venue for Bulldog is a loooonnnnnggggg way from anywhere with four walls and a roof. Half the fun is traipsing back to your tent at all hours only to find some blokes tapping yoru bike to make the alarm go off…again and again and again.
If this does happen, you may find it easiest to adopt a sleeping position with alarm fob in hand…saves alot of waking up and screaming at people in PJs. Hope that doesnt put you off camping !
Just bought a really neat 1-man tent at Argos. Very small and compact to carry on the bike if a bit claustrophobic for sleeping in but hey, it’s just a bit of back-up. £9.99. Bargain.
My girlie mate’s had to pull out, so it’ll just be me and my man. I don’t mind, no doubt I’ll be meeting up with assorted bods from here and from boxhill.co.uk who are also going.
