BT interphone Bluetooth Motorbike Motorcycle helmet intercom Headset 800M rider to pillion

Just thought I would post some notes on this. I gave it a try after someone else had told me they were quite impressed by this Bluetooth headset for only £37

It’s simple enough to fit, like any other kit.

I thought maybe it could have done with a stick on bracket, but the clamp style will fit most helmets. The controls are pretty simple, an on/off button and a dial which does forward and back (changes tracks).

Pros
Great priceEasy to fitReasonably loud (although I’ve not actually tried it on the move yet)Neat & tidy design

Cons
No bass at allDoesn’t use mini or micro USB to charge (has own cable, but how hard would it have been to simple charge through micro USB?)

I’ll post a little more once I’ve used it out and about.

Can u talk bike to bike?

It says rider to rider on the package, I would be surprised if it was bike to bike, as that tends to run to a few more ££s than 37.

The Scala G4 does that job, but for a dual set I think it comes in at a whopping £300.

It would be nice to find one of these units where you could dial 1 number, I have never found voice activation to work.

if it could dial just 1 number, you would have rider to rider, so long as the 1 number you put in was the phone of the other rider, who had a similar headset.

You would think they would do that, market it at about £60 and make a steal

Patent pending btw!

Also Andy, when you say “no base” do you mean “no bass”?

Blurb on the Amazon page says “Bike-to-bike intercom for rider& passenger or two separate bikes up to 1000? 800? 500? meters.” So it might do it

Yes, no bass, corrected thanks.

Also, I’m having a look through the manual now and I see you can adjust the volume also, good news.

Yes, works bike to bike in intercom mode. Simply pair up two units and off you go. Says it has 6 hours talk time in this mode, but in reality it may be much less than this if it’s constantly in communication.

Wow that looks like a good option. Can’t wait to hear what you think of it during a ride…

Very interested, let us know how you get on.

Was thinking about getting some sort of bluetooth handsfree/intercom device but do I really want to be disturbed by people when riding? Its the only bit of peace I get.

Hmmm it is a good option, more so for listening to music from bluetooth mobile…

Looks pretty decent. I need a replacement since getting a new lid as I was using the AGVoice

I used it for a short ride to work and back, so nothing at real high speeds. It can go reasonably loud, but the speakers struggle when you go anywhere near full volume on phone and headset. There really is no bass, so listening to music there’s no hiding it sounds cheap.

Listening to podcasts/voice, it generally sounded pretty clear and I liked I can pause and resume by pressing the handset on the unit. I’ve not tried calling anyone with it yet though.

I have wondered if there’s some better speakers that can be wired in to it?

Any further updates? Need to start commuting on bike and was thinking of a “starter” device…

Nothing more to say really. I tried connecting my GPS to it and the sound was really broken and distorted. That could be about my old GPS though…

As it is, I tend to still use headphones instead of this for listening to things.

M&P are currently selling a BT headset for £19.99. Doesn’t play music or link to satnav, but if all you want is to make or receiving calls it works.

Hello. Id like TO know hows the way TO activate siris function from the device, not from the phone. Thanks

Andy, I think there’s an article on how to wire in better speakers on webbikeworld.com
