Not for your bike, Brembo only make hydraulic master-cylinders for the clutch, not wire. But if you’re looking to go trick, then my recommended path is a CRG fold-up clutch lever, or a Lightech unit (imported), which is black and folds up as well, but doesn’t look as nice as the CRG, imo.

CRG fold-up lever (exceptional build quality, great adjustment) on my old 750:

Lightech race item:

If you’re looking for more info on the Brembo brake master-cylinder, we have an indepth post about it already:

More pics of the CRG in the gallery, for my old K4 750:

Cheers jay, CRG Levers do look quality pieces of kit, trouble is i wanted to keep the black theme going, i may just end up powdercoating my clutch lever.

Been looking at these, http://www.moorespeedracing.com/list.php?category=178&supplier=93

BILLET MASTERCYLINDERS by PERFORMANCE TECHNOLOGY

Spoke to the guy there today, very knowlegable, he sells Brembo as well, but says these are just as good, plus they are billet not cast like the cheaper option Brembo and come with foldup levers “making them very popular with racers”. He has one on his R1 and VMax, bought with his own money. Also, £60 odd cheaper than the cast Brembo and apparently, almost exactly identical in construction.

Info: Radial master hand cylinder 19x20 entirely billet through cnc processing, with hard oxide lining, equipped with adjustable flip up lever The product can be overhauled completely.

Price: £150.00

You mean brembo do levers for wire clutches ? Do you know where to get em from m8…cheers

No, Brembo don’t make wire-clutch levers. They make hydraulic clutch master-cylinders. Not compatible with your bike, unless you want to do a conversion, whic is pointless, cable is better for most people, hence why Suzuki put it on there.

The PT master-cylinders are very good, and look the part, though their race effectiveness is not proven in the UK yet, but they have history in the Italian series’. I don’t know if the custom Brembo MC brake-light mechanism works with this, I would doubt it, and the inline pressure sensors that most UK shops sell are crap, wearing out with time, and completely unadjustable.

“the inline pressure sensors that most UK shops sell are crap, wearing out with time, and completely unadjustable”

You mean the Goodridge £13 jobbie people seem to be talking about ?? That is a pain, I may well have to get my electronics genius mate to dust off his RS Components catalogue and find a microswitch/bracket jobbie to fix it with instead . . .

This is the professional setup, it’s a plug & play system that mounts to the underside of the master-cylinder, and your stock wires plug into the sensor that bolts to the other mount. I’ve used this on two different setups and it’s by far the superior solution. It’s fully adjustable, so you can set exactly how much pressure is required on the level before the brake light is activated.

Bloody hell guys…

Does it really matter…!!! Get out there and ride the bloody thing… you are only gonna snap them at some point anyway… Its yr hoare… ride her hard and when she’s fallen down… pick her up, dust her down, and ride her harder… Thats biking…

Or am i just being a twat… it has been known

That is what this site is all about, peoples opinions on things etc etc, so if nobody posted anything there would’nt be a site…It’s always nice to make informed decisions on purchases especialy somthing like brakes…very important. I nearly bought some levers untill i was informed how crap they were, so i did’nt waste my money…makes sence to me
Then go ride and pref don’t drop it…once is enough…LOL

We just like customising/modding our bikes, Oli. What you say is valid, but a lot of us can’t help but want to customise our bikes and make them special in our eyes!

is def and affliction errrrr i mean addiction!!!

Mmmmm, are you sure it is just biking you are talking about

Funny you should say that, I asked yoyodyneti 2 weeks ago to confirm pretty much what you have stated and am still waiting for them to get back to me…it is nicely made, but pushes the Brembo option up towards the £250 mark, … and I am not Kate Moss’s coke dealer

“and I am not Kate Moss’s coke dealer”

LOL…

I got the CRG mate and it not just look nice but it feels much better than the original one! You wont do any wrong with one!

I’m in the process of getting some CRG levers. But, I can’t make my mind up whether to get the short one’s. Has anybody got them, what do you think?

doh, just read njs71’s post, seems the short one’s are the one’s to get, cheers.

HI M8 BREMBO DO MAKE A CABLE CLUTCH LEVER AS I HAVE SEEN ONE ON A K4 1000.

JAY I KNOW YOU ARE CLUED UP WHEN IT COMES TO AFTERMARKET PARTS BUT YOU MISSED THIS ONE MATE

Interesting, I’d like to see it! I wouldn’t mind one

I knew I had a pic of my Brembo mc somewhere. I wouldn’t have another bike without, that’s the only risk you will take mate. There’s no way back, it’s awesome!
