breakfast club run

thanks all for turning up

good to meet p3rks & the doctor

roll on next sunday:)

I may have to join you guys, possibly next sunday!!!

I would like to come on this, maybe once, to see what it’s like - perhaps next week. However, I don’t know any of you at all, although I have talked to the Doctor at BM (I think).

I ride a 600 cc bike, although I am not a total speed freak and don’t want to rain on anyone’s parade and make people have to wait for me. I have been known to get lost in the middle of a group of bikers and I like to follow someone’s line round twisties if going fast. Am more into having a fun and enjoyable ride rather than a totally mental hoon, but can generally keep up okay.

So a few questions:

Is the BCR open to all and can anyone come on any bike?

Is it a really mental 120 mph ride or just a fun run and a nice breakfast?

Do other lady bikers go or is it just a gents only kind of thing?

Where do you meet?

Okay - that’s all the questions and maybe I will come along next week - we shall see:)

Those that have never been on the ride will have you believe the following:

Is the BCR open to all and can anyone come on any bike?

Yep, anyone, on any bike! As long as its at least 167.3575bhp…at the rear wheel, of course!

Is it a really mental 120 mph ride or just a fun run and a nice breakfast?

We’ve been known to slow down to nearly 120mph, when jumpin Red Traffic Lights and stuff.

Do other lady bikers go or is it just a gents only kind of thing?

Course ladies can come along, we don’t wanna serve breakfast ourselves, do we!

Where do you meet?

Those that have been on it will prolly tell you this!:

Is the BCR open to all and can anyone come on any bike?

Yep, anyone, on any bike! Although you’ll muller anything that is very low powered (Learner Legal 125’s).

Is it a really mental 120 mph ride or just a fun run and a nice breakfast?
**
Deffo a fun run for hearty breakfast, there are 1 or 2 places that 150mph is on the cards, most of its is around 60-80mph. But you’d need to be fairly competent to ride these roads at any comparative speed.**

Sometimes, we’d welcome more.

See you soon Hels! I take it that you are one of Hells Belles?

Ah ah - busted!! Yes indeed, Malcolm Young is my bessie mate LOL Covering the new album soon:D

Re the run - cheers for all the answers to the questions  You folks meet quite far from me (I’m south London). But it would be great to come - although I can do 80 okay - I think you all might go a bit fast for me :stuck_out_tongue: Unless I get some faring on the Hornet !! LOL

However, I will come along once and if you go too fast, that doesn’t matter, I will just see how it goes and will choose a Sunday when I am not out on the sauce the night before:)

80mph on some of those roads…well, lanes actually, can be a bit hairy! Sometimes 40mph can be too fast. As you know, its all relative. As long as you ride at a pace that you are very, and I do mean very comfortable, you’ll have fun and wont become another BCR statistic. That will make the rest of the ride happy too!

There will possibly, in the future be a ride for novices. Actually L-Platers, but that will run separately to the BCR.

Yes next Sunday sounds good to me! A good ‘steady’ run today (for 4 of us a scenic route on the way there tho.:P) then the ‘H’ run about 3 or 4 times was wicked  I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as i did! (Ian didnt know whether he was coming or going;))@Hels. we had a 125 with us today and he had a great day also!

i will be doing a L plates bcr in a few weeks ms-mad-dog has wanted to go to finchingfeild but dont want to go with a big group.

how is it after all this time there are still people that think they will have to be going 100mph all the way there:unsure: what ever speed i or others take a corner does not have to be the same speed others take a corner, ride your own pace

today ian user name, the doctor come on a 125 honda

he had a great time with us to finchingfeild. me & graycF stayed back with him & let the plastic rockets go ahead while we had a safe ride through the lanes

even tho i got us a bit lost we got there in the end:D

Great ride again guys - especially the ride back in the 100% dry.

Do the weather people have a frikkin’ clue? Seriously? I’m going to consult the oracle for next Sunday’s weather.

Okay sounds cool!! The Hornet’s a 600, so it might keep up with you lot, even if the rider doesn’t  LOL Anyway, I reckon it will be fun and will aim to enjoy it. I never usually ride up that way, generally do the lanes round Box, so will be a nice change.

Maybe next week (although have a party the night before) so might have to be the following Sunday!!

Cheers folks:)
