Breakfast at the Ace 12th Jan

Hi folks,
I am planning on having a nice fry up at the Ace on Sunday, around 9.30 am, in a bid to kick start January’s healthy eating plan.
Unfortunately I will not be joining the Jetstreams’ philosophical ride, owing to a hair cut at 3.45. :slight_smile: However, Martin and I will be doing a short (ish) ride around in non flooded areas of the countryside.
Maybe see some of you lot for breakfast.

Two things…

1, I would never fit into THAT dress
2, I would never get on a Ducati (unless it was a Panigale :D)

This is meant to be lunch at the Ace, not Rusty posing in his bikini next to a red Ducati, but whatever floats your boat:P

Anyway, if anyone does want to come (in whatever attire suits them - fancy frocks / swimming costumes are all fine with me) I shall be there eating fried eggs and toast:)

Unfortunately I am not coming to this now!!! I had an accident this morning :crying: Both myself and a car driver got sun in our eyes and as such did not see each other. I hurt my foot - and although the ambulance people looked at it and tried to persuade me to go to hospital, I decided against it. My foot is rather sore and whilst it seems there isn’t any real damage, I want to rest it tomorrow. The bike doesn’t seem to be in too bad a way, the car driver thinks there maybe some damage to her vehicle, but it was not too bad a one as far as accidents go.

Very sorry about this folks it would have been lovely to see you all. I will rearrange it for next Saturday if my foot is okay then.

Presumably you didnt wedge your foot under her wheel so I’m guessing she was at fault?

Hope you are ok this morning Hels, its usually when you feel it after a tumble.If you are a bit sore id say go to hospital & be checked out, as said previously lots of little bones in your foot. ( says she with more metalwork than bones in her body) Take care out there.

at least it wasnt a poor persons car but at least a Mercedes …imaging the shame if it was a beat up astra !..
