Brave man…not the best conditions but its what the track day is likely to be like on tuesday:(
Mate of mine was on the same event, said they let you out for a session and a dry line was appearing then when it was time for the second session the heavens opened up again and so called it a day.
We had one dry session after lunch, the rest were a mix of damp, wet or fully chucking it down. I’d rather have had a dry sunny day, that is two trackdays and two washouts so far this year, which sucks.
The best advise I can give to anyone doing Tuesday is be smooth. If you ride in the wet on the road there is no reason you can’t do it on track. It just takes a bit more concentration and you can’t push on as much as if it were dry. Obviously wets would be a bonus…
Blimey, I don’t mind riding in the wet but that would scare me, particularly other riders braking early into corners.
I’m not now going Tuesday but I hope the weather is better than on this vid!
